Senior Quotation Engineer – MV Drives and Motors systems
Responsibilities
Job Profile: Quotation and Execution – MV Drives and Motors
- Coordination with Dedicated Sales Team/ Customer for MV Motor & Drive RFQ handling
- Coordination with Factory Design team for Technical Offers and clarity on specification points, if any
- AGT Quotation from International Products through Quotation Centre.
- Segregation of RFQs based on complexity
- Preparing Comments & Deviations on Client Specifications
- Preparation and submission of techno commercial offer to sales
- Costing preparation, Bought Outs evaluation, Optimized offerings and Project execution skills.
- Order Acquisition with Sales / Customer, creating push with technical presentations
- Coordination of order booking (technical and price clarity, Order Confirmation etc) with FIN team
- Post order engineering document verification and onward submission
- Customer comment resolution post order and technical clearance of order before manufacturing clearance
- Coordination with manufacturing team for Motor / Drive with Manufacturing partners domestic/ International.
- Periodic review of manufacturing progress and updating of same to Sales
- Inspection planning based on readiness.
- Coordination with test center, relevant stakeholders for inspection witnessing by customer and subsequent compliance submission for dispatch
- Coordination with FINANCE, Factory to invoice after dispatch clearance
Knowledge & Skills
- Electrical Concepts of Medium voltage
- Drives topology of Multicell, HV IGBT, LCI
- Motors Electricals and Mechanicals know-how
- Asynchronous and Synchronous motors principle and operation.
- Knowledge on IEC and API standards.
- Application Know -how of Fan, Blower, Pumps, Conveyors and Mills,
- Industry Sector Knowledge of Oil & Gas, Water, Cement, Power etc.
IT Skills
- Expert level Office Tools Excel, Word, Power Point,
- Project Visio, Smart sheets or Time management.
- SAP would add advantage
- A-CAD would added advantage
Languages
- Arabic speaking and reading will be added advantage.
- German Language will be added advantage.
- English with expert level

Academics
Enggineering in Electrical stream, or Power Electronics
Management degree or certificate will be added advantage.
