Oversee and manage the execution of architectural works on-site, ensuring they are implemented according to approved drawings, technical specifications, timelines, and quality standards while adhering to safety regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
– Supervise all architectural activities on-site to ensure precision and quality.
– Review architectural drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
– Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to the project schedule.
– Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of works.
– Communicate with contractors and suppliers to coordinate material delivery and execution.
– Quality Control: Ensure that executed works comply with approved technical specifications and standards.
– Oversee material inspections and approvals before installation.
– Prepare daily and weekly reports on work progress and quality.
– Problem Solving: Address technical issues arising during construction.
– Propose practical solutions for architectural challenges or required design modifications.
– Safety Compliance: Ensure the application of occupational health and safety standards on-site.
– Educate workers and technical teams on adhering to safety procedures.
– Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documents related to site activities.
– Document any changes or modifications made to the drawings during construction.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineer or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of practical experience architectural.
Skills:
Strong organizational and management skills.
Ability to read and analyze architectural drawings and specifications.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
Knowledge of building standards and construction materials.
Languages:
Proficiency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
Work Environment:
On-site presence daily, with extensive time spent in the field.
May require overtime or weekend work based on project demands.
Reports To:
Project Manager or Operations Manager.
