WSP is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our team for a prestigious PMC project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout all phases of the project.
Your new role, what’s involved?
- Implement QA/QC procedures and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes.
- Review and approve quality documents, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to approved plans.
- Supervise contractor activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Prepare quality reports and maintain proper documentation of issues and resolutions.
- Address quality-related concerns and liaise with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with construction and supervision teams to achieve quality objectives.
- Guide and train junior QA/QC staff to ensure adherence to quality protocols.
- Serve as the primary contact for quality matters between the client, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Address client feedback on quality issues and ensure timely resolutions.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles, with significant exposure to large-scale projects, preferably airports.
- Proven supervision experience in quality management.
- QA/QC certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of international quality standards and codes (e.g., BS, ASTM, ACI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
