Position: Aluminum Facade Installation Engineer – After Sales

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Installation Engineer to oversee and manage installation teams, ensuring that all projects are completed within the specified lead times while maintaining high service levels and adherence to standard operating procedures. This role is focused on managing teams involved in the installation of doors, windows, facades, wall cladding, and skylights, ensuring operational efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage installation teams, ensuring proper coordination and resource allocation for each project.
- Ensure all installations of doors, windows, facades, wall cladding, and skylights are completed within the agreed-upon lead times while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Implement and monitor standard procedures and best practices for installation processes to ensure consistency and compliance with company guidelines.
- Oversee day-to-day installation activities, ensuring that all necessary tools, materials, and personnel are available on-site to avoid delays.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, identifying potential risks and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain high service levels by ensuring all customer requirements are met and addressing any issues or complaints promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, logistics, and engineering, to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure that installations meet safety standards and project specifications.
- Manage performance evaluations and training for installation teams to enhance skill levels and promote professional growth.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the installation process, reduce downtime, and enhance overall team performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in managing installation teams, with strong expertise in the installation of doors, windows, facades, wall cladding, and skylights.
- Proven ability to manage multiple installation projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timeliness.
- Strong understanding of lead time management and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Experience in enforcing and implementing standard operating procedures for installation processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for installation environments.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in facade installation or a similar engineering/construction environment.
- Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
