Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to establish project objectives
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to inform project strategies
- Prepare and review engineering designs, specifications, and documentation
- Monitor project performance and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure project goals are met
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address issues proactively
- Prepare and present project status reports to management and clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- 10 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction sector
- Strong proficiency in civil engineering software, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Project
- Deep understanding of engineering principles, project management processes, and construction methodologies
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Familiarity with local construction codes and regulations
