Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze civil engineering projects, including roadways, bridges, and commercial buildings
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and safety standards
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality of work
- Work collaboratively with project teams and maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders
- Manage project timelines and budgets effectively to meet project goals
- Identify potential risks and provide innovative solutions to engineering challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering roles, with a focus on superstructure experience
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and standards
- Proficient in using engineering design software, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
