Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer specializing in the installation of towers for telecommunications, broadcasting, or other infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and installation processes, ensuring that all structures meet regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation of towers, including foundations, structural components, and any necessary equipment.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, cost estimates, and resource allocation.
- Conduct site surveys to assess project feasibility and identify potential challenges.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to ensure the integrity of tower installations.
- Ensure all installations comply with local, national, and international building codes and safety regulations.
- Prepare and submit project documentation, including progress reports, technical drawings, and permits.
- Manage on-site construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring the timely and safe completion of work.
- Coordinate with clients to meet project goals and handle any concerns or adjustments during the installation phase.
- Inspect completed work to verify the quality and durability of the installations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in tower installation projects or similar infrastructure work.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, civil design software, and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with telecommunication or broadcasting tower installations.
