Job Title: BIM Engineer

Role Purpose
We are seeking a BIM Engineer to support the implementation and integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across the project lifecycle. This role ensures effective use of BIM tools while adhering to industry standards and contract requirements. Key Responsibilities
Project Support
- Assist in monitoring project progress and team performance to ensure timely completion within budget while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with the project team to align outcomes with client objectives and specifications.
BIM Coordination and Support
- Support the team in effectively utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in managing the BIM supply chain to ensure accurate data delivery.
Quality Assurance
- Participate in quality checks on BIM deliverables to ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of BIM quality control plans.
Clash Detection
- Participate in clash detection processes and support BIM quality control efforts.
- Assist in integrating other data sources with BIM for enhanced project management.
Common Data Environment (CDE) Management
- Help maintain and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) to track and monitor project deliverables.
Standards Compliance
- Ensure adherence to BIM standards and protocols (e.g., IFC, ISO 19650) and participate in training opportunities to stay updated.
Model Management
- Assist in creating BIM templates and ensuring models include essential information for facility operations.
Team Development
- Learn from team members and contribute to team growth through active collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Opportunity and Risk Assessment
- Assist in identifying potential opportunities and risks related to BIM within the project.
Necessary Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a BIM-focused role within the construction or facility management industry.
- Basic understanding of BIM standards and protocols (e.g., IFC, ISO 19650) is a plus.
Education and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are preferred.
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks) is a plus.
- Willingness to learn to assist in creating BIM templates and managing the Common Data Environment (CDE).
