Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Manager – Buildability to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on ensuring that all design and construction processes are practical, cost-effective, and align with the company’s vision for sustainable and innovative developments.
As the Manager – Buildability, you will liaise with various stakeholders to assess designs for efficiency and constructability through each project phase, ensuring that plans are executable within the project’s defined constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project designs and plans to assess their buildability and identify potential challenges or inefficiencies
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that designs are practical and can be constructed effectively
- Conduct value engineering assessments to recommend changes that enhance project’s feasibility and reduce costs
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to communicate buildability issues and resolutions with project teams
- Review project schedules and budgets to ensure alignment with buildable designs, and address any discrepancies
- Develop and maintain buildability guidelines and best practices to be used across all projects
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with buildability principles
- Stay current with industry trends and new construction methods to drive innovation in buildability practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 12 years of experience in construction management, project management, or related roles
- Demonstrated expertise in construction processes, methodologies, and buildability assessments, understanding of a theme park is preferable not mandatory
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and develop innovative solutions
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Familiarity with project management and construction management software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in construction is a plus
