Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Oversee the installation of solar panels, inverters, mounting systems, and other related equipment. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure proper installation and functioning.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure construction quality and adherence to engineering designs. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation and commissioning phases.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on site. Ensure all team members and contractors comply with safety regulations and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, site activities, and any changes to the project scope. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Project Manager.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Attend site meetings and provide updates on project status.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-10 years of experience in solar energy project implementation or a similar role in the renewable energy sector.
- In-depth knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical installations, and relevant industry standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and other relevant software tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
