
Job Description
- Perform analysis and simulations to validate design performance, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics.
- Create mechanical components, systems, and products in line with project requirements and specifications.
- Utilize analysis and simulations to verify the performance of designs, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics analysis.
- Collaborate effectively with electrical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and project managers to ensure the smooth integration of mechanical designs throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Conceptual Design: Develop and evaluate conceptual designs for new products and systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and perform preliminary design calculations.
- Generate 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
- Detailed Design: Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing and assembly.
- Perform stress analysis, thermal analysis, and other relevant engineering calculations.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes.
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation.
- Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the fabrication and assembly of prototypes.
- Conduct testing and analysis of prototypes to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze test data and make necessary design modifications.
- Project Management: Contribute to project planning and scheduling.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential roadblocks.
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and project stakeholders.
- Research & Development: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and design technologies.
- Conduct research and development activities to improve existing designs and explore new technologies.
Skills
- Knowledge of engineering analysis and simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD) for design validation.
- Proficiency in utilizing engineering analysis and simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD) for the validation of designs.
- Established experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or in a similar capacity.
- Comprehensive understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and various manufacturing techniques.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
- Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with construction Healthcare industries.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
