PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Purpose of this role is to manage the seamless execution of custom Wayfinding Signage projects from design conception to final installation. You will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery while exceeding client expectations for quality and craftsmanship. Your ability to build strong relationships, handle complex logistics, and navigate regulatory requirements will be crucial to our success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and Deliver the project according to the Wayfinding Strategy and Design Specifications.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and internal teams to develop and finalize signage specifications.
- Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to secure materials, fabrication, and installation services.
- Oversee production process, ensuring quality control and adherence to timelines.
- Calculate material quantities and specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates where necessary.
- Manage permits and regulatory approvals from authorities.
- Coordinate site logistics for installation, ensuring safety and minimal disruption.
- Conduct thorough final inspections and address any discrepancies before client handover.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the project.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues or delays, presenting solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Facilitate meetings and document project progress reports.
- Monitor project budget diligently, controlling costs and identifying potential variances.
- Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficiency and timely completion.
- Possess a strong understanding of signage materials, fabrication techniques, and installation methods.
- Be Detail-oriented and very organized.
OTHER DUTIES
- Manage Project Team time scheduling and attendance tracking
- Reviewing Leave Requests from Project Team
- Assisting with Business Development and Marketing activities when required
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in signage technology.
- Any additional tasks provided as and when the need arises with the scope of the department
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
At least 10-15 years of solid experience in the same or relevant field, especially in functions such as Project Management, Design and Construction.
SKILLS
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic understanding of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Knowledge of building codes and permits for signage installation a plus.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Arabic linguistic skills (Speaking or reading or writing) will be an advantage but not essential.
- Experience with Wayfinding Strategy, Sign Placement principles and branding will be an advantage.
