Due to our remarkable growth in the region, Jacobs is seeking a Saudi National – Bridge Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Here’s how you’ll contribute to groundbreaking infrastructure
You’ll be at the forefront of designing spectacular bridges and crossings that define skylines and connect communities across the Middle East. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-profile projects, from long-span crossings to architecturally stunning bridge designs that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
We’ll count on your ability to
- Drive innovative bridge design solutions while ensuring technical excellence
- Collaborate seamlessly with our global delivery teams to achieve outstanding results
- Transform complex client requirements into elegant, practical design solutions
- Manage critical project elements to meet time, budget, and quality targets
- Apply understanding of international bridge design standards and local requirements
- Support in creating compelling technical solutions that inspire confidence in our clients
- Utilize your expertise in structural modeling software and BIM to optimize designs
- Draw from your experience to enhance our design and build schemes
Here’s what you’ll need
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring
- A recognized degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
- Hands-on bridge design experience
- Proficiency in structural modeling tools (MIDAS, RM, Structural bridge design)
- Knowledge of Euro codes, DMRB, and AASHTO standards
- Comprehensive understanding of GCC authorities and local municipality requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Professional accreditation or progress toward engineering council membership
- Flexibility for short-term assignments across GCC countries
