Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager specializing construction supervision of Water infrastructure projects to join our team as part of a tender submission on projects based in the NEOM, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia . The successful candidate will be responsible for overall project execution, ensuring timely completion, compliance with regulations, and adherence to budgets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Project Management Plan (PMP).
- Lead project teams and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
- Oversee resource allocation, scheduling, and quality control.
- Monitor risk and propose mitigation strategies.
- Chair project meetings and provide progress reports.
Key Requirements:
- BSc degree in civil or mechanical engineering from an accredited university is a minimum requirement. MSc degree is an added value.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), or Chartered Engineer status from a recognized body is an added value.
- Minimum 25 years of experience, with at least 10 years in a similar role.
- Experience in managing construction projects, contracts, and stakeholder relations.
- Preferably, to have experience in Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC)
- Previous demonstrable experience in the construction supervision and project management of water transmission, storage and distribution projects
- Previous demonstrable experience in managing construction contractors and sub-contractors working at different locations/sites.
- Experience in contract management including changes/claims/variations and disputes
- Proven track record in successfully managing largescale water infrastructure engineering projects of varying complexity.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet project milestones
