As a Steel Structure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of steel structures. Your proficiency in Tekla and other software, combined with your site experience, will be critical to ensuring the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and detail steel structures using Tekla Structures and other relevant software.
- Prepare accurate drawings, models, and documentation for fabrication and construction.
- Conduct structural analysis and ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide on-site support during construction, resolving technical issues and ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Review and approve shop drawings and material specifications.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing steel structures, with proficiency in Tekla Structures and other software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro).
- Hands-on site experience in steel structure construction and installation.
- Strong understanding of international codes and standards (e.g., AISC, Eurocode, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
