Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Engineer with minimum 5 years of proven experience in ensuring quality assurance and quality control for large/medium-scale construction and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and managing quality management systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to work on large/medium-scale projects across various locations in Saudi Arabia, with housing, accommodations, and transportation provided at each site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plans and procedures for the project.
- Perform inspections and audits of construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate engineers to resolve quality-related issues and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of construction materials, processes to meet the project’s requirements local and Interantional standers (Such as SBC codes)
- Prepare inspection and test plans (ITPs) and method statements.
- Ensure that all quality documentation is properly maintained and organized throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and propose corrective and preventive measures.
- Prepare and submit quality reports and documentation to management, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Manage and track non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure of issues.
- Ensure that all project activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Travel to various project sites within Saudi Arabia as required to oversee quality assurance and control activities.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and processes in the construction, and industrial..
- Experience in conducting quality audits, inspections, and material testing methodologies.
- Proficient in the use of quality management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Aconex, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001) and other relevant industry standards.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to prepare and review quality documentation, reports, and records.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction standards and local regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for identifying quality issues and implementing solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications) is a plus.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer on large/medium-scale construction or infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.
- Proven track record of managing and implementing QA/QC programs on complex projects (e.g., power plants, highways, high-rise buildings, etc.).
- Previous experience working in various locations within Saudi Arabia is essential.
- Strong experience in reviewing and approving inspection and testing methodologies statements, and quality-related documentation.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian regulations and quality standards in construction projects is an advantage.

- Willingness to travel and work at multiple project locations within Saudi Arabia as required.
