Job Responsibilities:
- Performs a day-to-day on-site follow-up of the project’s engineering activities to accelerate the project’s life cycle in coordination with consultants, contractors and Magrabi staff.
- Monitors actual projects performance against planned time schedule to assure the delivery of the project within time as per approved budget and in compliance with Magrabi Quality Standard.
- Assists the department head in leading the projects throughout the project life cycle from initiation till closing.
- Participates in issuance/applying/development of department policies and procedures.
- Reviews claims/payment; reviews change orders; manages the interpretation of contract documents, drawing submitting/approvals and contract compliance.
- Oversees all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Plans to prevent problems and resolves any emerging ones.
- Analyzes, manages, and mitigates risks.
- Ensures quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Civil OR Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years, with at least 3 years healthcare experience.
- PMP certificate.
- Proficiency with engineering applications such as AutoCAD.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
