Job Summary
As a Tendering Engineer, your primary role is to prepare and submit competitive bids for projects by meticulously crafting detailed technical proposals. This involves analyzing project specifications, managing technical documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with various teams. Your responsibilities also include risk assessment, vendor coordination, client communication, and continuous improvement of tendering processes to enhance competitiveness. Effective deadline management and post-tender support are essential aspects of the role.

Responsibilities
– Prepare technical Files for tender Projects.
– Prepare time schedule and methodologies for execution of projects during tender stage
– Coordinate Technical Studies and Prepare Schedule Time for Tender Projects.
– Analyze project specifications and create comprehensive technical documentation, including but not limited to Execution Methodology, QHSSE documents, Project Risks, Project Team, Organization charts, equipment lists, material specifications, and engineering drawings.
– Prepare Pre-qualification for New Clients and Formal Correspondence between Company and Current Clients during Websites.
– Develop detailed technical proposals for tender submissions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and specifications.
– Collaborate with the estimating team to accurately assess costs associated with technical requirements, ensuring competitiveness in tender submissions.
– Ensure all technical aspects of the tender comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
– Engage with clients during the tendering process to clarify technical queries, provide additional information, and address concerns.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all technical documentation, ensuring version control and traceability throughout the tendering process.
– Effectively manage timelines to meet tender submission deadlines, coordinating with various teams to ensure timely completion of technical deliverables.
– Provide necessary technical support during the post-tender phase, including clarification meetings and negotiation discussions.
Requirements
– Education: relative Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
– 5-7 years of experience in a similar role ideally within one of the leading Infrastructure Companies.
– Excellent analytical and business intelligence skills.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
– Ability to manage multiple projects adhering to logistics, timescales and deadlines.
– IT literate – MS Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook).
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
– Proficiency in English language.
– Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment is an asset.
