Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description:
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing, designing, developing, and maintaining construction projects ranging from small to large scale at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare. This role involves conducting on-site investigations, analyzing data (maps, reports, tests, drawings), carrying out technical and feasibility studies, and producing blueprints that meet technical specifications. The successful candidate will assess potential risks, materials, and costs while providing innovative solutions to any emerging challenges. Additionally, the role includes mentoring staff, liaising with a variety of stakeholders, managing project budgets, procuring equipment/materials, and ensuring full compliance with all relevant guidelines and safety regulations. The candidate will also be responsible for compiling project status reports and delivering all necessary technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage, design, and maintain construction projects in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner.
• Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data from maps, reports, tests, and drawings.
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies; develop blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
• Assess potential risks, materials, and costs for projects.
• Provide creative advice to resolve emerging problems or deficiencies.
• Oversee and mentor staff while liaising with various stakeholders.
• Ensure smooth handover of completed structures and services for operational use.
• Monitor project progress and compile status reports.
• Manage project budgets and oversee the procurement of equipment and materials.
• Comply with all guidelines, permits, and safety regulations; deliver required technical files and documentation.
Requirements & Skills:
• Proven working experience in civil engineering, particularly in managing construction projects.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals.
• Strong project management and supervision skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering.
