Job Summary
- Leading Budget development and Cost Control set-up post award in conjunction with Project Planners, Cost, QS and Project Managers and Construction Managers.
- Assist in preparation of Corporate Project Commercial and Cost Rate Reporting, analyzing, and recommending solutions to improve unit rates, productivity, and cost savings ideas.Develop and maintain tracking tools for Bulk Materials, long lead Materials, Subcontracts, Crafts and Professional staff.
- Ability to carry out Cost Risk Analysis using excel or equivalent tools.
- Competent in Earned Value Managements.
- Ability to prepare service estimates and overhead for corporate staff and shared services and departments.
- Assist preparation of cost control governance procedures.
- Reconciliation of Cost and Quantities.
- Has the ability to lead Forecasting and or Value engineering for a project at various stages of the project.
- Preparation, maintenance of Cost Estimates and Actuals in conjunction with finance and accounts for Portfolio Projects.
- Preparation of Post Award Invoice templates, Interim Payment Applications, Interim Payment Certificates.
- Assist in the development of templates, dashboards, and best practices.
- Assist in development of budgets and spend plans.
- Contract interpretation of Portfolio projects.
- Ability to influence team members without having formal authority.

- Ability to steer project managers and department managers.

- Training Site Cost Control Engineers.

- Strong Command on Verbal, Written, Spoken English / Presentation skills.
Qualification / Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil / Architectures and Electrical Engineering. A master’s degree will be an added advantage
- 15+ years working experience in construction Industries.
- ERP and Tools: Candy, Ecosys, Cobra, SAP or equivalent. Experts in MS Suite, especially Excels and Power Point, Power BI.
- Certification of professional bodies, knowledge of FIDIC, JCT, NACE, and AACE, PMI recommended Earn Value Measurements techniques
