Team Lead (FPGA)

We are partnered exclusively with an HFT company that is looking to double its size in its engineering team. The company has entities in Europe, Dubai and APAC. The client has recently hired a C-suite from Tier 1 HFT companies.
My client is seeking a technical leader for their FPGA team, where you will guide the design and integration of software with external FPGA IP cores. You’ll provide architectural oversight to development teams, ensuring they align with my client’s goals and follow best practices. Your role will include managing engineering tasks, contributing to recruiting and growing skilled engineers, and collaborating across teams to ensure software integrates flawlessly with FPGA hardware.
You’ll also tackle any FPGA programming issues to ensure system reliability while staying updated with the latest in FPGA tech to drive innovation in my client’s products.
The technical environment at the company is Rust, however they are willing to speak with candidates from a C++ background who are open to using Rust as their main language.
You will be taking the lead of a small team of C.4 FPGA Engineers. Trading or HFT experience is not mandatory for this position. The client is willing to speak with Engineering leading from an FPGA background, you do not have to be an FPGA Lead currently.
