Job Summary:
The Site MEP Engineer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the installation, maintenance, and quality control of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on-site. The role ensures the MEP systems are integrated into the overall construction project as per design specifications, within budget, and on schedule.Key Responsibilities:
- MEP System Management:
- Supervise all MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) installation and commissioning on-site.
- Ensure all systems meet technical specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors and technical teams to ensure accurate execution of work as per the project design.
- Planning and Monitoring:
- Monitor daily progress on-site and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
- Ensure the correct selection and quality of materials in accordance with project specifications.
- Verify the efficiency and functionality of all systems, ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Collaboration with Teams:
- Collaborate with architects and civil engineers to ensure seamless integration between all building systems.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and operation of systems such as HVAC, lighting, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Quality and Safety:
- Ensure all MEP work is completed following high-quality standards and safety regulations.
- Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety guidelines on-site.
- Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process.
- Coordination with Suppliers and Contractors:
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of materials and equipment.
- Liaise with subcontractors and guide them in the installation and execution of MEP systems.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on the progress of MEP works.
- Maintain detailed records of MEP drawings, designs, and approvals, ensuring compliance with all legal and contractual requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.

- Strong understanding of MEP design drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
