Context
We are currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer for a Project Management/Construction Management scope for a potential Rail related project in Mekkah, Saudi Arabia.
Missions/Main Duties
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring their successful execution from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to integrate civil engineering requirements into overall project design and planning.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for construction.
- Supervise and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and industry standards.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, monitoring progress and addressing any issues that arise.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations, incorporating the latest innovations and best practices into project designs and execution.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assessments to inform decision-making processes.
Profile/Skills
- Hold at least a Master Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 15 to 20 years experience in major infrastructure projects, preferably in the railway industry with emphasis on maintenance facilities as part of a supervision or design team.
- Have completed at least one design-build transit project within the last 10 years.
- Hold a professional registration in engineering.
- Have work experience in Saudi Arabia or another GCC country
