About the job
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring they align with project requirements and safety standards.
- Lead and manage the MEP project team, including engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring effective communication and
- coordination among all team members.
- Manage the MEP project budget, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with other project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that MEP works are coordinated with other aspects of the project, such as
- structural and civil works
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports, detailing MEP milestones, challenges, solutions, and any changes to the scope, budget, or schedule. Maintain accurate records of all MEP-related activities and approvals.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of Extensive experience in managing MEP systems in large-scale construction projects.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with knowledge of MEP design, installation, and quality standards.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, local building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Familiarity with the latest technologies and best practices in MEP design and construction
