Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Civil Engineer with 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Civil Engineer will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met and quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop plans, specifications, and construction documents for various civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and buildings.
- Review and evaluate project proposals, conduct site assessments, and recommend improvements or changes to plans based on field conditions.
- Perform structural analysis, environmental impact assessments, and prepare detailed calculations for project designs.
- Supervise and manage construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, local regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within scope.
- Monitor project progress and provide technical guidance to contractors and construction teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance inspections to ensure that work meets the required standards and specifications.
- Assist with obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
- Provide technical support during project execution, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated solutions for all aspects of the project.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project success.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technologies to enhance project quality and efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in design, construction, and project management.
- Proficient in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, or similar).
- Strong understanding of construction materials, techniques, and local building codes and regulations.
- Experience with project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex engineering challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety standards, risk management, and environmental considerations in civil engineering projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building certifications (e.g., LEED).
- Experience in construction site supervision and management.
