Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and executing civil engineering activities for our projects, with a focus on ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. Experience in substation projects and a proven track record in the Gulf region or Saudi Arabia will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Oversee and manage civil engineering aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Develop and review project plans, designs, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth execution of civil works.
- Site Supervision:
- Supervise and inspect all civil engineering activities on-site to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
- Monitor subcontractors’ work to ensure it aligns with project requirements and safety regulations.
- Substation Projects (Preferred):
- Manage civil works related to substation construction, including foundations, structural works, and site grading.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to integrate civil works seamlessly into substation projects.
- Regulatory Compliance and Coordination:
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local and international engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
- Liaise with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and permits.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
- Conduct site inspections and generate reports on project progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, materials, and site progress.
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and schedules for management review.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Experience:
- 7–14 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on civil engineering works.
- Experience in substation projects is a significant advantage.
- Prior experience in the Gulf region or Saudi Arabia is highly desirable.
- Certification:
- Must be registered with an Engineering Council (e.g., Saudi Council of Engineers or Pakistan Engineering Council).
Location:
This position is based at any project site within Saudi Arabia.
