Job description / Role
Employment: Full Time
• Ensuring that the Crane and Lifting Operations Procedures are followed.
• Conducting on-site inspections, monitoring, and advising on safe lifting procedures.
• Providing general and technical assistance to the supervisory consultants and contractors, evaluating environmental issues and potential hazards on the site.
• Developing and implementing a site-wide lifting and cranage strategy, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabia regulations and the international standards and best practices.
• Collaborating with consultants, project managers, construction managers, and contractors to assess complex lifts.
• Fostering a culture of best practices and continual improvement in lifting operations.
• Receiving Lift Plans/Method Statement/Risk Assessment for information, reviewing them, and objecting to or prohibiting the lift from happening if the plan is incomplete or has errors.
• Reviewing accident investigations and injury, and accident reports to ensure all casual factors have been identified and reported; collecting relevant data through observation, testing, and interviewing; analysing potential causes of accidents and injuries.
• Ensuring that all lifting employees of the contractor have thorough training and that personnel records are kept current.
• Assessing contractors ‘Appointed Person’ appointments for their competency and suitability according to the complexity of the operation.
• Mapping of all crane’s locations, with operation constraints. Gather, and maintain a register of all locations (coordinates) and jib radii.
Requirements:
• Strong experience in tower crane management, safety protocols, and team leadership.
• Bachelors Degree
• Must have experience in Lifting Operations Management and Logistics Management
• Must have experience working GCC
