HCO employs a diverse range of architectural, engineering, planning, and consultancy professionals, allowing them to offer a “one-stop solution” for their clients’ project needs throughout the entire lifecycle. HCO works on a wide range of project types, including residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, and healthcare.
The Architectural Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of building systems, ensuring seamless integration of architectural and engineering elements. They play a key role in delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality designs that combine functionality with aesthetic value to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and understand architectural plans and elevations, ensuring design integrity and accuracy.
- Supervise and coordinate drafting tasks, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to project standards.
- Review shop drawings, providing feedback and necessary recommendations for improvements.
- Coordinate and supervise onsite activities, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective communication and seamless integration of design and construction elements.
- Assist in preparing 2D and 3D renderings, utilizing various drafting software.
- Ensure that construction materials and finishes align with design specifications and project requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experiences
- A Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, finishes, and architectural design principles.
- Expertise in drafting software, including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Lumion, and Home Styler.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage drafting tasks effectively.
- Experience in reviewing shop drawings and providing constructive feedback.
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Willingness to supervise and coordinate onsite activities to ensure smooth project execution.
