Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project budgets.
- Monitor project financial performance, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Prepare and present financial reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure cost management practices are integrated into project execution.
- Conduct regular audits of project costs to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Utilize advanced software tools to track and report on project expenditures, enhancing visibility and control.
- Assist in the development of project budgets by providing historical data and cost analysis.
- Participate in project meetings, offering financial insights that aid in strategic decision-making.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Professional certification such CMA is highly desirable to demonstrate expertise.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting or financial management within a relevant industry.
- Experience in construction, engineering, or IT sectors is preferred to align with project requirements.
- Proficiency in advanced financial software tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or MS Excel, is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
