The Technical Office Manager plays a pivotal role in the construction and building industry, overseeing the technical aspects of projects from Bid to Handover. This position requires a blend of managerial skills and technical expertise to ensure that all the project scope is executed effectively. The Technical Office Manager is responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including engineers, HR, clients, Public Authorities and contractors, to ensure that projects meet the required specifications and standards. With a minimum of 15 years of experience in the field, candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the technical office team to ensure efficient project execution.
- Review and approve Bid operation to handover.
- Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to resolve technical issues during construction.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Review and recommend solutions for project challenges.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure project specifications are met.
- Facilitate communication between different departments and stakeholders involved in the project.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to improve project efficiency.
