NOW HIRING – DESIGN PROGRAM DIRECTOR – INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY
Our Client is an International Engineering Consultancy with a proven track record of delivering mega projects across UAE & KSA.
The Position
As the Design Program Director, you will play a key leadership role in managing the front-end design phases through to the execution and supervision of large-scale projects for one of Saudi Arabia’s Giga Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple large-scale design programs from initial concept through design development and construction.
- Manage and coordinate with the Head of Program Management to oversee the entire design program lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time.
- Partner closely with other internal stakeholders to ensure coordination between design, construction, and project management teams.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for design programs, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and client requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, engineers, contractors) to ensure seamless integration of design with construction and project management phases.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and standards, leveraging deep knowledge of the Middle East market.
Requirements:
- 20 + years of experience.
- 10 + years experience in a senior-level role.
- Proven track record delivering multi-billion SAR projects.
- Experience with an international consultancy and Middle East experience is essential.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
