Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies tailored to the unique cultural and legal framework of Saudi Arabia, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Manage talent acquisition by sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates who meet the specific needs of the project and comply with local labor laws.
- Oversee employee onboarding processes, crafting a comprehensive orientation program that immerses new hires in company culture and project objectives.
- Facilitate continuous performance management, including setting KPIs, conducting evaluations, and creating development plans to enhance employee skills.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi labor regulations and company policies, proactively addressing any legal issues that may arise.
- Cultivate a positive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement initiatives and conflict resolution strategies tailored to local customs.
- Design and implement training programs that address both technical skills and cultural competencies essential for project success.
- Administer employee benefits and compensation packages, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with local standards.
- Lead diversity and inclusion efforts within the project team, fostering an environment that respects and values cultural differences.
- Provide strategic HR insights to project leadership, helping to align human resource capabilities with overall project objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of HR management experience, specifically in project-based roles within Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) demonstrating commitment to industry standards and best practices.
- Proven experience in managing diverse teams, with a strong understanding of local labor laws and cultural nuances.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is essential; knowledge of other languages is a distinct advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting HR metrics to drive decision-making and project planning.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of managing change and driving employee performance.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
