Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements, showcasing your expertise in mechanical systems.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and pricing strategies for mechanical components, ensuring competitive yet profitable bids.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs into overall project plans, enhancing project efficiency.
- Prepare and present compelling tender submissions to clients, effectively communicating technical and commercial aspects.
- Evaluate and select suppliers and subcontractors based on technical capabilities and cost-effectiveness to optimize project resources.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to provide accurate technical input in tender documents.
- Manage timelines for bid submissions, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising quality or attention to detail.
- Provide technical support during the bid clarification phase, addressing client queries with precision and expertise.
- Conduct risk assessments for mechanical systems in tender proposals, identifying potential challenges and mitigation strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus for advanced understanding.
- Demonstrated soft skills, including strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are highly regarded, demonstrating commitment to project management principles.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage for global engagements.
- Strong technical skills in CAD software and mechanical design principles, with a proven ability to create detailed engineering drawings.
