Job Description
1 Project Scheduling and Planning:
Developing detailed work schedules for civil activities, including timelines for tasks such as earthworks, foundations, structural work, utilities, and finishing. Identifying critical path activities and setting milestones for key project phases to guide project progress.
- Resource and Labor Planning: Working with the Sr Planner to estimate required resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, for each project phase.
- Progress Tracking and Reporting: Monitoring the project’s progress against the planned schedule, tracking task completion, and identifying any deviations or delays.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identifying potential scheduling risks & develop a contingency plan or adjusting the schedule to mitigate risks and reduce their impact on the project timeline.
- Coordination with Site and Project Teams: Collaborating closely with site supervisors, construction managers, and subcontractors to ensure that the planned schedule aligns with on-site conditions and any unexpected developments.
- Budget and Cost Control Support: Assisting the project management team in tracking costs against the schedule to ensure budget adherence, particularly for resource allocation and labor costs.
- Utilization of Planning Software: Using project planning software, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or other specialized tools, to develop, update, and manage project schedules.
