Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer with expertise in Civil 3D and Infrastructure to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of infrastructure design, with a focus on transportation, site development, and/or land development projects. The candidate should be able to work independently, possess strong analytical skills, and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Develop and produce conceptual and detailed designs, drawings, and specifications using Civil 3D software for transportation, site development, and land development projects
Coordinate with project team members, including project managers, surveyors, and other engineers, to ensure project success
Analyze and evaluate design problems and recommend creative and practical solutions
Conduct site visits and fieldwork to gather data and information necessary for design and construction
Prepare reports, cost estimates, and construction schedules
Perform quality control checks on design documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
Communicate and coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies as required
Stay up to date with industry standards, practices, and emerging technologies related to infrastructure design

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure design, with a focus on transportation, site development, and/or land development projects
Strong proficiency in Civil 3D software
Knowledge of state and local standards and regulations related to infrastructure design and construction
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
